PSAT’s: Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 – 250 sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSAT’s. Students should report directly to their assigned classroom NO LATER than 7:40 AM – preferably a little earlier. It is important students bring two #2 sharpened pencils and an acceptable scientific or graphing calculator (refer to the PSAT booklet given to students at registration for a list of acceptable calculators). The exam is 2 hours and 45 minutes of actual testing time and an additional 45 minutes of instructions and breaks. Our goal is to provide a testing environment as close to the SAT administration to help prepare students for the feel of the exam. In order for the exam to be done by 11:15 AM, the proctors will begin reading the instructions promptly at 7:40 AM. Please remember the importance of eating a healthy breakfast, getting a good night sleep and being early to school on this day. Cell phones are not permitted in the exam room and all students will be asked to completely power off their phones and keep them in their bag for the entire testing time. Any student not taking the exam should report to their scheduled class.
